Tell us a little about yourself.
- Where do I start? I have been married for 28 years and have two almost grown up children, one of each. I am originally from Gällstad in Västergötland, but moved to Gräshagen in ‘78. Six minutes by car to my job at Jönköping Airport and cycling distance to the centre — perfect. Right now, I am working as an ‘odd-job man´ at the airport with responsibility for marketing, communications and business development, and I really enjoy it! I have worked with flights and the like all my adult life. I qualified as an air-traffic controller, but changed career after a while.
Are you into flights in your spare time too? - No, no. Then it´s travel and a bit of joinery on the house, but this year I´m going to try the hammock! But I´ve said that before... I am also involved in a few groups that work on developing the visiting industry. The incoming charters from Germany are close to my heart, and I also believe in developing the Vättern concept. Vättern with all its gems must be one of the most ‘touristic´ places in Northern Europe.
What happens next?
- Right now, we are launching ‘the new Jönköping Airport´. The opportunities are endless. The Sky is the limit!
Favourite places in Jönköping?
